Wow! This set has it all! The pictures don't do it justice. This has acrylic paint oil paint watercolor paint gouache paint. It has a nice easel canvases paper pallets brushes a wooden storage case that doubles as an easel for canvases and so much more.
I was truly amazed when I opened the box at everything there is. It is great set for a beginner to figure out what types of paint they like working with. The paints seem to be a good quality along with the brushes and everything else in this set. I think this is a great value as well. It would be a lot to purchase all of these things individually. I 100% recommend.

This is an amazing set of all the different paint types. It comes with everything you need to paint with each type of medium. It would make a great gift for anyone interested in trying different painting techniques or anyone that likes to paint. The paints are all great to work with and is now my new favorite brand of paint. The brushes are nice to hold and good quality.

I have to begin with their packaging. The design of the package in my opinion is quite good; it makes you really feel like you got something nice. It’s heavy 22 lbs for this set it’s brightly colored in primary colors tightly packed and even several items individually packed inside. I keep closing the box back up just for the feel of opening it and looking inside. This would make a wonderful gift for an aspiring artist.

The oils and acrylics are very usable step above student what I would call artist grade paint. I like their paints and I am a professional artist. They are not quite as saturated as some professional paint I’ve used but they can be used by professionals on a budget. The paints are marked for safety pigments transparency and lightfastness. They use blends to form HUE versions of higher price single pigment colors such as their Prussian blue is a blend of PB15 and PV23 and not true Prussian Blue pigment. This is not necessarily a bad thing just an observation. Saturation of pigments and paint density are both good. The oils and acrylics are a medium heavy body type.

Set comes with three nice brush sets one each for the watercolor/ Gouache oils and acrylics which is nice. The quality of these is quite good. The only downside is an aesthetic choice they made to use matte ferules on the brushes these allow staining with some of the paints. I don’t think it will affect their durability.

There are two types of easels in the set. I was a bit worried about the usability of the wooden one. There is no top support for a canvas it just leans on the raised back which leans on a single stick tucked into a slot. It turns out to be surprisingly stable and easy to use. With the aluminum one I’m not too happy with the bottom support for the canvas. You slide a couple of holes over a couple of bolts and count on the weight of the canvas pushing down to keep it in the slot. It works but I’d rather it could be screwed into place. Again it does work and setup is not too difficult. Overall on the easels it’s impressive there are two one for standing and one for sitting and using and the standing easel comes with a case!

For someone looking to try various techniques and mediums this is an ideal gift or purchase. You would need to add some form of brush solvent for the oil paint (turpentine or mineral spirits or one of the modern odorless solvents or oil methods) and some medium. Acrylics watercolors and Gouache are ready to use straight out of the set just add water.

The watercolor paper works great the canvas board works great. Both of these are above average the watercolor paper is 100% cotton and seems well made the canvas board is made with an MDF core.

I like this set a lot. The Meeden art supplies are quite nice. I’m attaching a photo of a watercolor done with the Meeden watercolor on the paper from the set and an acrylic done on one of the canvas boards.

First of all this is such a great set. I couldn't wait to get it home and start using it. I tried to show the contents of the box because there is just so much to love in this box. It really is a quality set and I have only opened a few media types within it but each one has been good. There is all different types of paint included. I love acrylic so that is what I focus on most. These are very bright and the texture is smooth within the tubes. The blend flawlessly and even cleanup is a breeze. I am really impressed with the quality of the set. Also the variety you get for the price is almost unheard of. Again all the tools included and even the canvas is great. I really don't have anything bad about this set. It is big. It is high quality. It is affordable. This one is 5+ Stars. Hurry and get this one for you lover of all things paint or even just your crafty friend. This set is the real deal!
