Certainly well protected, but in this age of superfluous everything, I felt it could have been accomplished with more imagination and less material.
Lets me keep almost all my watercolor “stuff” in one place.
I love this palette! I keep this palette on my desk directly at hand, and each time I get a new tube of paint, I put a dab in it so I’m sure to use it when I’m painting. That way, even if I haven’t had time to pour a whole pan, I have some to use in my daily work. I can see how the paints work with whatever I’m doing. The number of wells allows me to try out a lot of paints before I need to take the time to make decisions about what pans to pour and how to build my actual keeping palette!

This easel will securely hold any art I'm likely to make, with the crank lift I can put the working area at a comfortable height, I can move the whole thing to get natural light or artificial, set the angle of tilt all the way to flat for varnishing, lift for a standing painting posture which allows moving back across the room to view what I'm doing. I'm well pleased with this easel!

The brushes paint like a dream the colors in the 96 color palette are beautiful
A bigger seat would much more comfortable so I have added a padded seat that is larger than the seat size. Also it would be better (for stability and comfort) with a footrest lower on the three legs. The structure is nice and solid, easy to assemble.
a little bit confusing to put together on some of the steps but overall its a great piece
