This is a cheaply made product, not worth the price. The crank handle is cheap, feels like it will break after little use, my product was broken inside the package , but unfortunately I had waited too long to open it to send back , I glued the part broken back on, but the main issue is the product is not steady, the joints where the front part of the easel slides up and down is so loose that when you paint it rocks, I had to wrap cords around the joints to tighten enough that they would not rock as I painted . I hate painting on an easel that is not sturdy. This is certainly not sturdy. I would not recommend purchasing this unit. If I had not waited so long to open it, I would have returned it.

I love it, so well made. The one problem is that it holds 3 canvases but mine came with the main holder for the top of the canvas is all the way at the top, and the smaller one is in the middle so it bumps into the back of my canvas. When I inquired, Meeden said you can move them around but it seems like I would have to take a bunch of it apart. I wish there was an easier way to adjust it. Wish there was a phone number!

this is a very well made and sturdy easel which does everything I wanted it to do for me....and it fits in my studio which has very low ceilings. I had to build a tray for it since I do large pastel work and really need a dust tray, so I guess I wish it came with one, but that is a minor point. love the crank and the lay flat option too. Iam 77 and the constant stand/sit stand/sit on my old wall easel was getting really hard.
If I had the room for it I would buy a second one!

In a word everything I expected was found or exceeded!

After an exhaustive research project I purchased this “Bentley of all easels” to myself for my bday. Assembly was relatively easy for two old folk but make sure you follow the directions. This easels is a majestic work of art in itself and will be broken in with its’ first of MANY paintings tomorrow. I give credit to Painting with Josh for inspiring the artist within me and to Meeden for making the fine quality products that color the world with Joy!

Exceptional quality beautiful European Beechwood. Packaged very well for shipment arrived in excellent condition. I am very pleased with this purchase such a gorgeous Easel. I will be enjoying this fine easel for many many years!

This is the type of easel I have been waiting and longing for. I saw it online and instantly love this Large Rocker from MEEDEN. I have two of their brand products in the past but I think this is the best so far. I recommend it too for painters who specializes on large canvers or large surface board paintings.

Great hardwood easel that exceeded my expectations (and my husband who put it together). I added a hook for rag and a paper towel holder. Ready to make my next “masterpiece”….

I really like my new easel and I was super impressed with the packaging it was delivered in. Very smartly packed and well protected. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to understand. I will definitely recommend Meeden products to my other artist friends.

I’m handicapped and cannot stand to paint nor can I lift easels with the center latch. The crank system on this easel to raise and lower my canvas is awesome! The quality of construction is superior. The value is excellent!

Did a couple of huge paintings before. My husband had made me a makeshift easle using a pulley system and a little giant ladder. I've been eyeing this one for a while and finally purchased one. Sooo much easier. Love the tilt and the easy crank.

It arrived very well packaged and on time, and as it was a present, this was important. It’s well made, very solid, and does the job perfectly.

A very versatile easel - particularly with the ability to lay it flat for use of special mediums on some artworks. The hand crank is fantastic for adjusting the position of large heavy works. Overall, very well built.

Good quality for money

Quality wood and hardware. Easy to set up, but could probably use a 2nd person for the last assembly step. Takes up minimal footprint for the large size canvas you can to use, and is still able to move easily around (even on carpet). Stable and super easy to crank up and down. The perfect easel for me!

Although the box is quite heavy, the individual cmponents were easy to handle. Major pieces are pre-assembled. The rest was easy to put together by myself until the last step, which required two people. All the parts are solid and smooth. The crank works well. Up and down movements are fluid. The easel rolls and pivots easily on the wheels, which lock as expected. Wheel lock mechanism is sturdy; no slipping to unlocked. It is substantial and solid without being unnecessarily large. Perfect for my space.
